Yang Manni finished her breakfast, cleared the table and washed the dishes.
I had just finished washing the dishes when someone rang the doorbell.
Ning You had just been out for twenty minutes, so it definitely wasn't him. Besides, he had the key and wouldn't ring the doorbell.

Yang Manni raised her head and cast a faint look at the little girl in front of her. She didn't want to argue with her, nor did she want to get entangled with her.
"Ask him yourself when he comes back. I need to rest now," she said in a serious tone.
Then he walked past the little girl and continued towards the bedroom.
The little girl was shocked by her aura and stood there in a daze for a few seconds.
Just as Yang Manni put her hand on the door handle, she heard the voice of a little girl behind her.
"I'm telling you, no matter what your relationship with Brother Ning You is, he is mine. Our parents have already agreed that I will get married when I turn 20. I will be 20 next month, and I will not give Brother Ning You to you."
The little girl loudly declared her sovereignty to Yang Manni.
Yang Manni paused on the door handle.
