When he reached the location of the mark, he saw a metal dog waiting there for him. The spirit creatures around the area hadn’t eaten this metal dog because it possessed only the law fragments of the Forging Pathway. He was sure that if he had sent a golem or metal puppet, it would be gone by now.
The metal dog was looking into an empty space. If Loki couldn’t sense his mark, he wouldn’t have known that there was anything to look at.
In fact, even with him sensing the mark, he still couldn’t touch the Cave Heaven. His body passed through the place unhindered as he walked back and forth, trying to touch his prize.
When he failed to touch it, he activated the Devouring Ability again. He let the black blanket of doom cover his surroundings. So everything around him was devoured.
However, there was something that refused to let the Devouring Ability eat it. It was a tiny spot in space. He couldn’t see anything there, but the Devouring Ability was sure that there was something there, so the devouring force field began pulling whatever was in that tiny spot out.
Loki went over to the tiny spot and used the Insight Stat to see what it was. After a period of observation, he determined that the tiny spot was a spatial channel.
He also discovered that this spatial channel was too small for what the devouring force field wanted to pull out through it. So he rolled up his fist and activated the Splitting Edge Metac on it. Then he plunged his hand into the tiny forcefield.
His actions caused the spatial channel to distort and break down. But then the devouring force field rushed into the weakened space channel and enlarged it.
Since his attempt was successful, Loki pushed his whole arm into the spatial channel. Then he enhanced his other arm with the Splitting Edge Metac and pushed it into the spatial channel.
His actions disrupted the integrity of the spatial channel. The devouring force field took advantage of this disruption to invade and enlarge the spatial channel.
The two of them worked together like this to create a spatial tunnel large enough for Loki’s entire body to pass through. When he came out from the other side of the spatial tunnel, he found himself in another world.
This other world was similar to the second heaven in that it contained spirit creatures. But it was smaller than the second heaven.
It was actually a hundred times smaller than the second heaven. The spirit creatures in this world were also of the same type, not the assorted variety present in the second heaven.
The spirit creatures in this world came in various shapes and forms, but they were golden and shiny. As he looked around, he saw golden coins the size of mountains running around.
He also saw a golden goat and a golden eagle. Everything he saw was golden.
This made him nod and say, "It is the Cave Heaven of a money cultivator, all right. It is just like them to display their wealth all the time. When I’m done with it, it will become more presentable and less gaudy."
After he said this, he remembered what Monarch Money Construct had said to him before the money cultivator died. This made him snicker and say, "He thought I wouldn’t be able to find his Cave Heaven. Well, who is laughing now?"
He answered that question by laughing as he devoured all of the spirit creatures in sight. He cleared them out first so that they wouldn’t give his Cave Heaven problems after assimilating this Cave Heaven.
When he was done with the spirit creatures, he went to the core of the Cave Heaven. He found the sealed Money Construct Divine Metac waiting for him there.
The sight of the Divine Metac brought a smile to his face. He stretched out his hand to take it. Then he summoned his Cave Heaven and let it assimilate the Cave Heaven.
The entire Cave Heaven granted him 86 million square kilometers and 6,968,784 units of law fragments after he assimilated it. It was supposed to be 97 million square kilometers, but the devouring force field had taken 11 million square kilometers while he was busy passing through the spatial tunnel.
The work of gaining access to the Cave Heaven had needed the assistance of the devouring force field. Unfortunately, the devouring force field doesn’t work for free. The longer he took to get to the Cave Heaven, the more the Devouring Ability took from the Cave Heaven.
The loss was not intentional or welcomed, but Loki couldn’t very well blame his greatest helper. And at the end of the day, half bread is better than none. So the fact that he was still able to get 86 million out of 97 instead of getting zero was a much better pill to swallow.
After the Cave Heaven was assimilated, he found himself in the original spot in the second heaven. The metal dog was still there waiting for him.
He didn’t dismiss the manifestation now that it was done with its job. Instead, he let it run wild through the second heaven, eating spirit creatures.
As for himself, he left in the direction of the next Cave Heaven. This one belongs to Monarch Life’s Worth, and it is close by, so he should reach it sooner.
The journey took 3 days. When he was done, he had gained another 85 million square kilometers and 4,683,425 units of law fragments.
This time, the Cave Heaven was actually 93 million square kilometers in size. But the Devouring Ability took 8 million square kilometers during the process of gaining access to the Cave Heaven.
