Chapter 25 Treasure Chest Daily Life
Chapter 25 Treasure Chest Daily Life
"Young Master Xia, you have more and more women around you."
Xia Bing was taken aback.
"What do you mean?"
"It's nothing." Zi Nu turned and walked out. "Young Master Xia, please feel free to leave tonight. I'll take my leave now."
She walked to the door and suddenly stopped.
"By the way, Young Master Xia."
"Um?"
"There's someone you absolutely must meet at the banquet tonight."
"who?"
"Flame Spirit Princess."
Xia Bing was stunned for a moment.
Flame Spirit Princess?
"who is she?"
"People from Baiyue," Zi Nu said. "They recently arrived in Korea and are staying at Zi Lan Xuan."
"What's so special about her?"
"She's very special." Zi Nu turned around, her smile meaningful. "Young Master Xia will know once he sees her."
After saying that, she turned and left.
Xia Bing watched her retreating figure, lost in thought.
Flame Spirit Princess...
He had indeed heard of this person.
The fire-wielding masters of Baiyue possess unparalleled skill in manipulating flames.
"Xia Bing." The Snow Woman's voice came from the side.
"Um?"
"Are you going?"
"Okay." Xia Bing nodded. "Let's go take a look."
The snow woman did not speak.
She knew that Xia Bing had made a decision, and she couldn't change it.
"I'm going with Jingni tonight," Xue Nu said.
"Okay." Xia Bing didn't refuse. "Go and tell Jing Ni to prepare."
The snow woman turned and walked into the house.
As she reached the door, she suddenly turned back.
"Xia Bing."
"Um?"
"Who is that Yan Lingji?"
"I don't know," Xia Bing shook her head. "I'll only know when I see him tonight."
The snow woman looked at him with a complicated expression.
"……good."
She turned and went into the house.
Xia Bing shook her head.
"This woman..."
He knew what the Snow Woman was thinking.
But some things are beyond his control.
……
night.
Xia Bing brought Jing Ni and Xue Nu to Zi Lan Xuan.
The entrance to Zilan Pavilion was brightly lit.
Guests came and went in an endless stream.
"Young Master Xia," Zi Nu greeted him, "Welcome."
"Miss Zi Nu." Xia Bing nodded. "Thank you for your trouble."
"No trouble at all." Zi Nu glanced at Jing Ni and Xue Nu. "These two young ladies are here too?"
"Yes." Xia Bing nodded. "They are my people."
Zi Nu's eyes flickered.
"Then come in together."
She led the three of them into Zilan Pavilion and into an elegant room on the third floor.
The private room was already quite full of people.
Xia Bing glanced around and noticed a few people.
A young man, dressed in a blue robe, with a refined and scholarly air.
A stern-looking man with long, black hair and sharp eyes.
There was also a red-haired woman, leaning languidly against a soft couch.
"Young Master Xia," Zi Nu introduced, "and this is Young Master Han Fei."
The young man stood up and bowed slightly.
"I have long admired Young Master Xia's name; it is an honor to finally meet you today."
"Young Master Han Fei, you're too kind," Xia Bing returned the greeting. "I've long admired your esteemed name; it's renowned far and wide."
"This is Wei Zhuang," Zi Nu said, pointing to the cold-faced man.
Wei Zhuang didn't speak, he just nodded.
Xia Bing didn't mind and nodded at him.
"This is..." Zi Nu looked at the red-haired woman.
"I can do it myself." The red-haired woman stood up and walked to Xia Bing.
She looked Xia Bing up and down, a slight smile playing on her lips.
"You're Xia Bing?"
"It's me." Xia Bing looked at her. "Are you Yan Lingji?"
"Indeed," Yan Lingji said with a smile. "I've long heard that you defeated Ji Wuye, and today I finally get to meet you in person."
"How was it?" Xia Bing raised an eyebrow. "Disappointed?"
"Not disappointed." Yan Lingji's eyes sparkled. "She's even more beautiful than I imagined."
Xia Bing was stunned for a moment.
This woman speaks so directly?
Jingni and Xue Nu's expressions both changed.
"You..." Jing Ni was about to speak.
"Don't be nervous." Yan Lingji waved her hand. "I was just saying."
She looked at Xia Bing with a playful expression.
"Young Master Xia, you certainly have quite a few women around you."
"We're all on the same side." Xia Bing smiled. "Isn't Miss Yan Lingji also alone?"
"Me?" Yan Lingji laughed. "I have no one with me."
"That's perfect," Xia Bing said. "Miss Yan Lingji is so beautiful, she must have many suitors."
"That's true." Yan Lingji didn't mince words. "However, there aren't many that I find appealing."
She looked at Xia Bing with a meaningful gaze.
"Young Master Xia, are you interested?"
Jingni and Xue Nu's faces darkened even more.
"No interest." Xia Bing refused directly. "I have enough of them."
Yan Lingji was stunned for a moment, then laughed.
"Interesting." She took a step back. "Young Master Xia is truly interesting."
Han Fei, watching this scene from the side, also laughed.
"Young Master Xia and Brother Wei Zhuang do bear some resemblance."
"Where are they similar?" Xia Bing asked.
"They're all clueless about romance," Han Fei laughed.
Wei Zhuang snorted coldly and remained silent.
Xia Bing smiled and did not refute.
He found a seat and sat down, with Jingni and Xue Nu sitting on either side of him.
Yan Lingji looked at the three of them, her eyes thoughtful.
"Interesting..." she murmured, "really interesting."
……
The banquet is in progress.
Han Fei and Xia Bing talked for a long time.
From global trends to the situations in various countries, and then to academic thought.
Xia Bing discovered that Han Fei was indeed a talented person.
His Legalist ideas, though somewhat ahead of their time, were insightful.
"Young Master Xia, what do you think the future of the State of Han should be?" Han Fei asked.
"South Korea is too small," Xia Bing stated bluntly. "Among the seven nations, it is the weakest."
Han Fei nodded.
