"Sister Jin, I've heard that there's a new guy who seems to be Assistant Xue's girlfriend, that's probably her," the female assistant whispered to Sister Jin.
"So what if she's Assistant Xue's girlfriend? Can Assistant Xue be more important than President Gu?" Sister Jin touched her slightly curly short hair, looking every bit the future mistress of the house.
As long as she's not Mr. Gu's girlfriend, everything is fine.
She carefully examined Chu Xinglan, feeling smug. She had thought that such a beautiful girl would be a threat to President Gu by staying by his side, but she hadn't expected that Assistant Xue would handle her so well. In this way, she would have one less competitor.

"Are you deliberately trying to cause trouble?" Sister Jin became even more displeased as she watched Chu Xinglan defend Ye Xiaoxiao at every turn.
"I'm not trying to cause trouble, I'm just stating the facts." Logically speaking, since Miss Ye is targeting Gu Ye, she shouldn't be helping her, but Sister Jin is being too bullying, and she really can't stand by and watch.
"What do you mean by discussing the matter at hand? You, a secretary, are meddling in our planning department's business?"
