Chapter 2 Finding Fault
The maid Chun Tao said arrogantly, "What? Are you deaf?" Liu Ruxuan looked innocent. Suddenly, she saw steam rising from the pot on the stove next to her. She waved her hand and pointed at the pot with a knife: "It's in the pot."
Chun Tao walked over, and Liu Ruxuan was incredibly nervous because she had no idea what was in the pot… Chun Tao rolled her eyes at Liu Ruxuan again, reached for the pot lid, and instantly a fragrant aroma wafted out, making one want to take a few sips. Chun Tao couldn't say anything then, picked up a spoon and stirred the pot, then picked up a bowl and began ladling. Seeing this, Liu Ruxuan felt much more at ease.
After Chuntao finished serving, she carried the tray away. As she passed Liu Ruxuan, Liu Ruxuan gave Chuntao a silly smile and said, "Have a good trip~". As soon as Chuntao left, Liu Ruxuan threw the cleaver onto the cutting board, ran to the door to see if the maid had left, and breathed a long sigh of relief. She then drank several more mouthfuls before stopping.
Stepping outside, the sun shone brightly, and peach blossoms were in full bloom. Although it was outside the kitchen, there were still plenty of flowers and plants to beautify the environment, indicating that her residence was in a rather wealthy mansion. Being a servant here, she wouldn't have to worry about food and drink, hehe~

Just after lunchtime, Liu Ruxuan, seeing nothing to do, moved a chair from the house and sat down to bask in the sun. Being rather carefree, she soon drifted off to sleep.
After an unknown amount of time, a beautiful young woman, accompanied by two maids, rushed in through the main gate. Seeing Liu Ruxuan sitting by the kitchen door, she became even more enraged. She walked up to Liu Ruxuan and began shouting, "You little slut, get up!" Liu Ruxuan, who was having a sweet dream, was suddenly startled awake. Still groggy, she looked up at the woman who had spoken and was momentarily stunned. 'Who is this? Judging from her demeanor, she must be the young lady of the manor.'
"What are you daydreaming about? My young lady is calling you to get up, didn't you hear me!" said a maid behind the woman.
Liu Ruxuan quickly got up and examined the woman. She was fairly pretty, but her temper was a bit volatile. However, considering her own status, she didn't think much of it and gently asked, "Miss, what's wrong?" Upon hearing this, the young lady and her maid covered their mouths and laughed. Liu Ruxuan was also unsure of the situation and quietly waited for the young lady to speak.
The woman spoke up: "Hmph, you've softened your tone today. I'm hungry, and I want to eat the bamboo shoot and mushroom soup that my second sister asked for. Go and make it quickly."
"What? Bamboo shoot and mushroom soup? A maid just came and ladled out a bowl, and she drank most of the rest herself. She doesn't know how to make it... What should we do?" Liu Ruxuan blurted out without thinking, "I don't know how to make it." "Don't know how? How come you can make it for Second Sister but not for me? Do you think I, Liu Yiting, am easy to bully?" "Very well, so you're deliberately not doing it, huh?" Liu Yiting said, swinging her palm and striking Liu Ruxuan in the chest with a gust of wind. Liu Ruxuan fell to the ground, instantly spitting out blood. Liu Yiting continued relentlessly, "I'll give you the time it takes for an incense stick to burn. I want to eat bamboo shoot and mushroom soup, or you'll be sorry. Yiqing, Yiqin, let's go." With that, the three of them strode away.
