Chapter 15, Module 1 complete, Sailor
The wooden figure looked at Bai Xi, slightly opened its mouth, and then heard a loud bang in its ear.
He turned around abruptly, only to see Cthulhu's projection raise an incredibly thick arm and slam it down.
It was just a simple downward droop, but it seemed to have stirred up a tsunami, with a huge wave crashing towards the two of them.
The wooden figure turned green with fright.
You think you can break through? Are you kidding me?!
But when he turned to look at Bai Xi, he only saw a pair of calm eyes that showed no fear.
He said, "Don't be afraid."
So he got up, took his hand axe, walked to the bow of the ship, faced the towering waves, and pointed at the projection of Cthulhu.
He turned his head away and gave a carefree smile.
"Anyway, there's no other choice now, is there?"
In the midst of the storm, amidst the deafening thunder and the roar of the sea, he roared, like a captain in the tempest:
"Then let's charge in!"
Regardless of whether there is a road ahead.
Whether death or hope lies ahead.
Since there's only one path to take, then do everything in your power to make it through.
No matter how great the risk, or what the consequences may be!
"Otherwise, we can't just stand here and tell KP we're surrendering and losing half the game, can we?"
Bai Xi laughed loudly and said that even in the storm, the wooden man actually felt a touch of heroism.
Then, the wooden man felt a paddle appear in front of him. He looked down at the paddle.
"You row the boat," said the captain, "and I'll take the axe. We'll go and give him a good whack later."
Such arrogance, such utter ignorance.
But when the wooden figure looked up, it saw Bai Xi's genuine expression and calm eyes.
Take a deep breath.
Finally, he nodded vigorously.
They picked up the oars and rowed with all their might, just like sailors.
"Big brother, you'd better give it your all! This round depends on you!"
The wooden figure muttered to itself, already regretting accepting such a troublesome request as soon as it started paddling.
However, his hands did not stop moving at all; on the contrary, he became even more desperate.
On the vast, raging sea, a small boat braved the wind and waves, charging headlong into the terrifying behemoth before it!
In the storm, the first wave crashed in. The seawater almost filled the boat, but quickly receded. The wooden man coughed violently, yet continued rowing with all his might.
Even with a nasal cavity full of seawater, it didn't stop!
"How many more waves are there?!"
He shouted desperately, but his hoarse roar sounded like a mosquito's buzz in the storm.
A flash of lightning struck, but what he received in return was Bai Xi's reply, which even carried a hint of excitement:
"There are so many more! So many!"
"To be honest, this is the first time I've ever rammed a boat into President Cleveland!"
Bai Xi excitedly waved his axe, shouting as he watched the waves crashing in one after another.
Amidst the raging waves and storms, the small boat tossed and turned, appearing so fragile.
The great being, however, paid no attention to this tiny, leaf-like ship sailing towards it.
Are you really sure?
Once again, the wooden man cried out in a disheveled manner amidst the waves, but his voice was so soft that he even doubted whether Bai Xi had heard him.
But he heard Bai Xi's voice.
It was singing. A singing voice full of boldness and unrestrained spirit!
"Always looking like a weak, cowardly wimp, that's what the sailors say when they're being bullied!"
Baek Hee's body swayed rhythmically in the storm as she sang the lyrics of this old song from the last century, her legs tapping out a beat on the deck.
He practically screamed as he sang the rest of the lyrics.
He said, "In the wind and rain! What's this little pain! Wipe away your tears, don't ask! At least we still have dreams!"
"What the hell are you doing?"
The wooden man wiped the seawater off his face and asked in a flustered manner, but Bai Xi turned around and winked at him, the meaning of which was very clear.
Of course, it's singing!
That great being is right before our eyes.
To charge at Him is utterly foolish.
Even if it's just a game, isn't this a bit too reckless for a player?
But why bother with so much?
Since it's a game, shouldn't the main thing be to have fun?
So why not charge towards that great being?
That's just a projection here. Even if it's invincible, even if we're just ants, does that mean we shouldn't climb it just because it's there?
Where would such a logic come from!
So sing, sing!
Amidst the turmoil, like sailors, without asking why, they sang loudly, launching this rebellion against Him!
He said, "What's a little pain in the face of wind and rain!"
Bai Xi grinned, smiled, and sang loudly:
Wipe away your tears, and don't ask why!
Amidst the almost unrestrained singing, the small boat sailed up to the projection of Cthulhu. He glanced down indifferently, then looked up again, still gazing at Aldebaran on the distant horizon.
However, the drooping hand struck the sea surface again and again.
He didn't care about the ants.
But they wouldn't care if they accidentally stepped on an ant!
"Holy crap! I'm going to die, bro!"
The wooden figure was terrified, sweating profusely as the splashing waves nearly capsized him. The small boat even felt like it was about to fall apart.
However, Bai Xi just shook her head and continued singing, aimlessly chopping at the projection with an axe.
The actual damage is very low, and it's even difficult to penetrate armor.
But the ship continued forward until it crashed into the Cthulhu projection!
They accomplished the feat of ramming Cthulhu with a small boat!
However, as if triggered by some memory, that great being cast a detached glance downwards and raised its arm.
"Holy crap!"
"Think of something, bro!"
The wooden figure's pupils constricted as it shouted, but Bai Xi merely shook his head and roared:
"Drive forward!"
"We're not far from where the dark clouds are dissipating!"
His gaze remained fixed on the Cthulhu projection in front of him as he continued singing the song he hadn't finished.
But before Cthulhu could smash down again, he leaped away!
"Where are you going?"
The wooden figure was dumbfounded and roared. But all it received was Bai Xi's unwavering silence.
"Attract attention! As long as one person can escape, that's enough!"
"So, I've decided to give Him a good axe blow!"
So, for the last time, a jumping strike!
[Jump check = 47/60, successful]
[Brawling check = 4/80, a great success! Although I really want to say you bastard definitely got it, congratulations on getting the result you wanted most.]
Then, from within the storm, a howling song echoed, accompanied by the axe that had left a mark on Cthulhu!
Seemingly surprised that an ant had hurt him, Cthulhu looked away and turned to Bai Xi. At that moment, the wooden man, disregarding everything, rowed the famous boat with all his might!
Facing Cthulhu's gaze, Bai Xi curled the corners of his mouth, revealing a stubborn yet delighted smile.
And so, in that final moment, on the raging sea, Bai Xi sang her final song, reaching that final climax once more:
He said, "What's a little pain in the face of wind and rain? Wipe away your tears, don't ask questions, at least we still have dreams!"
He said, "What's a little pain in the face of wind and rain? Wipe away your tears, don't ask why!"
The massive arm crashed down. Death was a gift to the brave sailors. But no one paid any attention to the small boat in the corner.
Only the laughter that dissipated in the storm proved that someone had launched a reckless charge here.
And then he sang a hymn of courage!
........................
The wooden figure rowed the famous ship with all its might. The enormous projection no longer paid any attention to it.
So, the small boat bobbed up and down in the storm. Even as the sea flooded his face, the wooden man did not stop for a moment and continued rowing, as if he were roaring silently in his heart.
Forward, forward, and forward again!
Until we cross that endless storm, and that dark cloud that blots out the sky!
Until the projection of that great being and their struggles are left behind!
That charge was not reckless, for it yielded a positive outcome in the end.
The wooden man had forgotten how long he had been rowing. He was simply exhausted and didn't even want to lift a finger.
However, the small boat gradually moved away from the shadow of the dark clouds. Suddenly, sunlight streamed onto the deck, illuminating the wooden figure and the boat's deck.
The night has passed, and the sun hangs high in the sky.
The wooden figure slowly lowered the oar, then stood up as if in a daze, looking at the finally calm sea, the scenery so pleasing to the eye.
He gazed upon the beauty before him, oblivious to the storm raging behind him.
What awaits the sailors after the storm?
The wooden figure closed its eyes, took a deep breath, and inhaled the sweet sea breeze and fresh air into its lungs.
Then, he spat it out.
After the storm, the sailors were greeted by bright sunshine!
