" Without the presence of those 4 gangs, Smaller lesser gangs are beginning to take shape on their own throughout the entire city, I think it won't be long before they've completely formed. Of course throughout that process, the city might become a bit more dangerous than it should."
Su Ping couldn't help but frown, her words did hold some truth, in a sense, evil could never be ridden of so long as people existed. If one wanted to truly get rid of evil, they would need to be able to control the hearts of man, while that was possible, it would be a waste to enslave the entirety of the city just because of something like this. If he were to do that, what's to say he wouldn't resort to the same thing when another similar problem came into being, and what's to say something of them might not be able to break out from it eventually and start trouble all over again.
Su Ping let out a helpless sigh.
" Perhaps I can be of assistance." Just then, the three of them glanced towards the door where a clocked figure stood.
She stepped into the lighting before pulling down their hood, revealing themselves to be non other than Victoria.
" Master..." She approached their table before offering a courteous curtsy to Su Ping.
" And what are you doing out here this late out?" Su Ping said with even more helplessness on his face, what was to say her family haven't already noticed her whereabouts. If they traced it back to him, would he be called to the estate once more by the Viscountess?
Just thinking about it caused him to feel as if a migraine was coming on.
Yu An was more annoyed than anything, since she'd long since known that this human female would very much turn out to be another rival of hers.
As for Nebula, a look of shock flashed past her face. After all, she remembered clearly who Victoria was, now seeing her here causes her to feel awe towards her new master, to think he'd already gotten the Viscount's daughter under his control without the man even realising it.
" I simply came to offer my assistance... Since it seems like a certain someone was beginning to forget how useful I can be." said Victoria, sounding quite unhappy.
" And what use could you possibly be–" Yu An started but turned quite when Su Ping shot her a suggestive glance.
" You say you have a way of dealing with this situation?" He shifted his focus to Victoria and asked.
" Yes Master." Victoria said enthusiasticly, his display of standing up for her warming her heart.
" Like I was saying, rather than continuing to purge them, why don't we instead, place our own forces within their ranks."
" Your suggesting our lord dirty his hands with such riffraff?" Yu An's features turned cold.
" Yu An...." Su Ping stopped her once more, this time his expression turning disgruntled. " I allowed her to speak, isn't it common courtesy that you allow her to finish, or are you now thinking for me instead?"
" Forgive me my lord, I was simply voicing my thoughts, that's all." She bowed her head in apology.
Seeing this, Su Ping lost his anger, simply waving his hand dismissively.
" Fine, but please try to control yourself from now on."
" Yes my lord." She said in an obedient tone yet breath the table, her knuckles turned white from being clenched so hard.
" Victoria?" said Su Ping, urging her to continue.
The woman looked like she was in a daze, all her earlier thoughts of being abandoned by her beloved master suddenly vanishing from her mind.
" Yes Master." She replied in a flustered manner, her cheeks rosy while her eyes permeated with warmth as she stared at the man after her own heart.
" By using our own forces to control their groups from within. Although we wouldn't be eliminating all of them, we would be able to target those who take things to far, in time, if we continue like this, it's sure to create an unspoken rule amongst them. Humans are naturally habitual creatures, given enough time of facing the same circumstances over and over again, they're bound to take it without fail."
" I see..." Muttered Su Ping as he sat their in silence as if pondering her words. Victoria stood silently yet her eyes were filled with anticipation as to what his reaction would be.
" It's truly an impressive plan Victoria, truly, you've proven your worth once more to me... But" her heart skipped a beat at the later part of his sentence.
" I'm afraid I can't resort to it." Having already promised the people of the city in the contracts that he'd make sure to protect them, it felt like he'd be going back on his words if he watched these dirty rats running about alive and well.
" While I'm not planning on using it, perhaps if a few tweaks are made, it might be feasible."
" Oh, and what are you suggesting my lord." Victoria unconsciously leaned in to hear what he had to say.
He said nothing at first but glanced at Nebula.
Feeling his gaze upon her form, her heart trembled and she quickly dropped to her knees in an act to showcase her unwavering feilty to him.
" You request my aid, Master?" She said.
" Your former group was quite skilled in stealth, were they not?"
" Yes Master, indeed your correct." She said, pausing before continuing. " As the Viscount's former Espionage unit, it was my job to train a fitting unit to carry out all his missions. If we weren't discreet then I'm afraid I wouldn't have been able to cross paths with you my leige."
" It's thanks to you that I've been given such a chance to live once more. My heart eternally belongs to you master." In that moment she spoke, the expressions of Victoria and Yu An faltered, a coldness flashing past Yu An's gaze. To think that this new recruit actually dared to be this ambitious.
