Chapter 73 Early Summer Gets Rich
Chapter 73 Early Summer Gets Rich
Song Chuxia was unaware of Song Yueyan's inner thoughts. After having dinner with Chu Ze, she returned to the hotel to rest.
The next day, after breakfast, Song Chuxia thought her brother would take her to school to register, but instead he took her to the bank.
"Brother, what are we doing at the bank?"
"I'm showing you something."
Chu Ze took her hand and led her inside.
Because they had been notified in advance, someone came over as soon as they entered and led them directly to the back of the hall.
The bank staff entered the password and led them through several doors before stopping in front of a safe deposit box.
Chu Ze waved, and after the staff left, he entered the password, pressed his fingerprint, and opened the safe.
He took out a thick stack of documents from inside.
Chu Ze placed them on the table and pushed them towards Song Chuxia, who was sitting opposite him.
"Little sister, all of these are for you. Among them are the properties that Mom left us, as well as the properties that your brother has bought over the years with his own money. There are houses, commercial buildings, and shopping malls. They are all in your name."
"Now I'm entrusting them all to you for safekeeping. If you ever have a falling out or argue with Tang Yu, just move out immediately. You don't need to bow down to him. With so many houses, you can live wherever you want."
Looking at the numerous property deeds, Song Chuxia's eyes welled up with tears. "Brother, I don't need so many. Just give me one or two. Besides, what will you do if you give them all to me?"
"Silly girl," Chu Ze raised his hand and affectionately ruffled her hair, "These were bought in your name by your older brother. They were originally meant for you."
"As for myself, you don't need to worry. I have shares in several companies and have invested in many projects, which are worth much more than these houses and lands."
Chu Ze still felt that these houses were not enough. He learned rather suddenly that his sister and Tang Yu were together, and hadn't had time to prepare.
Otherwise, I would definitely have bought her even more things.
"I can't take so many. These are all the money my brother worked so hard to earn. How can I take them all?" Song Chuxia wanted to push all the property deeds and documents back to him.
"Why can't I have them?" Chu Ze pressed down on her small hand, stopping her movement. "What, if these houses are given to you, you won't let your brother live there anymore?"
"How could that be? This was originally my brother's house!"
"So, what's the difference between having these houses in your name and having them in mine? Don't refuse anymore, or I'll buy you even more tomorrow."
Chu Ze made a firm decision, directly telling Song Chuxia the combination to the safe and even changing the fingerprint to hers.
Chu Ze finished doing all this on his own, and only when he turned around did he realize that Chu Xia had been crying at some point.
Her eyes were red, and she didn't make a sound, like a little rabbit, with big tears falling down her face.
Chu Ze was heartbroken and hurriedly went to wipe away her tears.
"Wh...what's wrong? Little sister, don't cry!"
Song Chuxia threw herself into his arms and hugged him, stubbornly wiping her tears on his chest.
Chu Ze felt the dampness on his chest and panicked even more.
He raised his hand and gently patted her shoulder, coaxing, "Little sister, don't cry. If you're upset about anything, just tell your brother, and I'll help you get revenge. With your brother here, you don't have to be afraid of anything."
With red eyes, Song Chuxia lifted her head from his chest. "I wasn't wronged. I was just too happy. I cried from happiness."
Chu Ze raised his hand and gently rubbed it under her eyes. "What's making you so happy? Is it worth crying like this?"
"Because I have the best brother in the world. Isn't that something to be happy about?" Song Chuxia smiled mischievously at him. "And also, I've suddenly become a little rich girl. Brother, I'm so happy!"
"You're so pathetic!" Chu Ze tapped her nose with a hint of annoyance. "You're so happy about such a small thing. You almost scared your brother to death."
"But if my little sister likes being a rich woman, then I'll work harder and try to make you a very rich woman in the future."
"No need, no need." Song Chuxia shook his fingers. "This is enough for me to live on for the rest of my life. Brother, don't work so hard anymore. Besides, I can earn money to support you in the future."
"Okay, then I'll quit in a few years and you'll take care of me from now on." Chu Ze joked, not taking it seriously.
After leaving the bank, Chu Ze drove Song Chuxia to Nancheng University for registration.
Upon arriving at the school, as soon as Song Chuxia entered the school gate, she saw a row of sunshades, each with the name of the college and the name of each major written in front of it.
She and Chu Ze followed the name together and quickly found her major, Chinese Language and Literature.
Song Chuxia handed her admission notice and ID card to the senior students sitting at the table, asking them to help her with the procedures.
When the upperclassmen saw that Song Chuxia was so pretty, well-behaved, and easy to talk to, they wanted to chat with her a bit more.
Chu Ze stood beside Chu Xia with a cold face, never leaving her side. He wouldn't even say a few words to her, and if anyone dared to look at her more than twice, he would glare at them.
The senior students were so nervous that they didn't dare to say a word of nonsense and quickly got the procedures done.
Only the accommodation issue remains.
The senior student tried her best to ignore Chu Ze's surveillance and asked Song Chuxia, "Junior, do you want to stay in the dormitory? If so, you need to pay two thousand yuan first, and we will help you get a room now."
"If you're not staying on campus, remember to write a statement explaining that you won't be living on campus and give it to your advisor later."
Song Chuxia was about to say no.
But Chu Ze beat him to it.
"Let's move in. Let's assign dorm rooms now!"
Chu Ze directly scanned the QR code and transferred the money.
Song Chuxia hesitated several times before finally managing to stop him.
After leaving the reporting area, Song Chuxia tugged at Chu Ze's clothes and whispered with her head down, "Brother, I've already promised Tang Yu that I'll move to a neighborhood near the school and live with him. So, I don't actually need to live in the school dormitory anymore."
"I know." Chu Ze felt annoyed when he thought about it. "The accommodation at Nancheng University is not very good. It's definitely not as comfortable as renting a place outside."
“But I’m worried about you living alone. So it’s fine if you live with Tang Er. He can take care of you and protect your safety.”
"However, he sometimes needs to travel for work and can't stay there every day. So, my brother thinks that when he's away on business or has other things to do, you should stay at school. That way, you'll have someone to keep you company and you can make more friends in the dorm. What do you think?"
