Chapter 142 The Secret of the Ball of Wisdom

Lily and her team continued to move forward. They had just obtained the Orb of Wisdom, and everyone's heart was filled with anticipation and curiosity.

"Should we cross this bridge?" Feng Yang asked with a frown, his expression looking a little worried.

"It doesn't look very stable," agreed Jax.

Lily took out the ball of wisdom and gently touched it. The ball immediately emitted a soft light. The light guided them forward, as if saying: "Go forward bravely and trust wisdom."

They stepped onto the stone bridge carefully. The bridge shook slightly under their feet, but it did not collapse. With each step, the light of the Wisdom Ball became stronger and stronger, as if paving the way for them.

"This ball is really useful." Xiaopang exclaimed.

Just as they were about to reach the other end of the bridge, suddenly, a group of huge water snakes emerged from under the bridge, opened their bloody mouths, and pounced towards them.

"Oh my God, what a monster!" Feifei screamed.

Lily calmly raised the ball of wisdom, and the light of the ball became more dazzling, instantly forming a light screen, blocking the water snake outside. The water snake hit the light screen, making a series of low roars, but could not break through.

"Hurry, get there now!" Lily shouted.

"Have we walked into the set of a horror movie?" Xiaopang joked, but there was a hint of nervousness in his voice.

Suddenly, a light appeared in front of them, as if something was glowing. Lily led everyone to approach carefully and found that it was a glowing stone tablet with a line of ancient words engraved on it.

Feifei once again used her language talent to study it carefully and said, "It says that only those with true wisdom and courage can unlock the secrets of this forest."

"Looks like we'll need the Sphere of Wisdom again," Lily said, as she took out the sphere and touched it gently.

The ball of wisdom glowed again, and the light guided them to the depths of the forest. After walking for a while, they found an ancient altar with an ancient scroll on it.

"This scroll looks important," Jax said, and he walked forward to pick up the scroll.

Suddenly, the ground around the altar began to shake, and a group of skeleton warriors emerged from the ground, holding sharp blades and rushing towards them.

"Come again? These guys are really lingering around." Feng Yang said helplessly, drawing his sword and preparing to fight.

Lily raised the Orb of Wisdom once again, and the light turned into sharp blades, slashing at the skeleton warriors. The skeleton warriors fell one after another, but more skeletons emerged from the ground.

"We have to get that scroll to end this." Lily shouted.

Feifei used the light of the Orb of Wisdom to protect everyone, and Lily quickly rushed to the altar and picked up the scroll. In an instant, the skeleton warriors turned into ashes and disappeared into the air.

"It seems that this scroll is indeed important." Lily said. She opened the scroll and found that it was covered with mysterious runes.

"What is this?" Xiaopang came over curiously.

"It looks like some kind of ancient magic." Feifei studied it carefully. "We need time to interpret it."

They decided to rest in a safe place at the edge of the forest, and Feifei and Lily began to study the runes on the scroll. After some effort, they finally solved the secret.

"This is a powerful defensive magic that can protect us at critical moments." Feifei explained, "but it requires a special spell to activate it."

Lily nodded: "This scroll, like the Orb of Wisdom, is an important helper in our adventure."
