Chapter 694: Sharing the Same Bed, She Cuddles Up to Him
Chapter 694: Sharing the Same Bed, She Cuddles Up to Him
"Miss Sheng Yi, do you know what you’re saying?" His expression was restrained, and his voice was low."I know!"
Although Sheng Yi didn’t think through those three words, she didn’t regret saying them.
When she saw the brief astonished expression on the man’s face, her heart skipped a beat. At this moment, Dao An was surely defining her as a very casual woman, not reserved at all...
"Actually, I just..." She bit her lip, her heart in her chest pounding like thunder. Her tightly pressed lips loosened as she continued, "I’m just scared. Today’s event left me with a huge psychological shadow. I really am just too frightened."
She defended herself, still using that almost worn-out excuse to find a reasonable justification for herself.
Her wet eyes carefully watched the man bending over in front of her. Her hands clutched the corner of the quilt tightly, the beautiful joints turning a bit white from the pressure, indicating how nervous and uneasy she was. As if any different expression on the man’s face from what she hoped for would bring tears to her eyes, making her burst into aggrieved sobs.
Dao An looked at the girl in front of him.
While his eyes were calm, only he knew how turbulent his heart actually was.
Her dependence brought him ecstasy. Even if this joy was temporary, he was satisfied.
Finally, Sheng Yi saw the man extend his hand over.
She thought he had finally compromised, but she saw his hand fall on either side of her open collar...
Sheng Yi parted her lips slightly in surprise at this action.
Taking off her clothes?
So direct?
But she wasn’t completely ready yet; what step should she start with, should she take off his clothes in response...??
She forgot everything she had seen in those movies!!
While she was lost in various imaginations, the hand that landed on her collar tucked it inwards, and the open collar was quickly and tightly covered.
Sheng Yi glanced downward.
Suddenly, she felt warm, remembering how open her collar had been, as she was too busy swooning over this man in front of her to remember her embarrassingly underdressed state, and even thinking about those things...
"I-I-I didn’t mean to, the collar... it just opened on its own." She said shyly, hands pressing against her cheeks, her head bowed slightly.
Dao An’s gaze returned to her and saw this scene, the girl shyly bowing her head with hands covering her face.
His heart stirred, and he couldn’t help but want to get closer.
She could simultaneously possess the traits of both a little woman and a little girl, and he had seen so many sides of her, each one he loved terribly.
"Are you tired?" he asked in a low voice.
Upon hearing the man ask if she was tired, she first shook her head, then nodded: "A little tired."
In truth, she wasn’t tired. The headshake was an instinctive response, and the nod was feigned tiredness.
"Then hold on for a moment, wait for me," he said, putting down the thin blanket, leaving the bedside.
Sheng Yi watched as he entered the bathroom, and in about half a minute, he came out holding a hairdryer.
Seeing he intended to blow-dry her hair, Sheng Yi found it troublesome; she wasn’t in the mood to dry her hair now.
The man seemed to notice her reluctance. After plugging in the hairdryer, he didn’t hand it to her but walked to the bedside, extending his hand to her.
Sheng Yi didn’t take it, curiously looking at him.
Her eyes were still wet, clear, and bright like a deer’s, silently and constantly stirring the man’s heart. The tightly pressed lips showed restraint, but Sheng Yi didn’t know how alluring she appeared to this man, to a man who had been in drought for over thirty years.
Like a fruit of the devil, exuding a fresh and sweet taste, enticing one to want to pick and taste.
Seeing the man remain silent, Sheng Yi, in a daze, extended her hand, placing it in his palm.
The warm, dry palm attracted her to want to hold it.
Dao An’s gaze fell on their hands, watching her small hand land in his palm. His silence wasn’t because he didn’t want to speak, but because he knew any sound from him would be unusual, which would be hard to explain to her.
After obediently placing her hand in his palm, Sheng Yi thought he was pulling her up to dry her hair, and as she was about to leverage herself up, her body suddenly lost balance, leaping up into his arms unexpectedly. She didn’t feel any anticipated pain, only spinning around dizzily as Dao An lifted her from the bed.
