While traversing a vast ice plain, they encountered a colossal ice beast. Covered in hard ice armor, its every movement caused the ground to tremble. It opened its gaping maw, spewing forth pillars of icy water that hurtled towards the expedition. The Shadow Cult members hastily unleashed dark magic to defend themselves; for a moment, light flickered across the ice plain, a mingling of darkness and cold.
After a fierce struggle, they finally managed to bypass the icy behemoth and continue their journey. Finally, they found the lost ancient ruins. Covered in thick ice, the ruins exuded an ancient and mysterious aura. Once inside, the expedition team encountered a maze of passages and various traps that caused them considerable hardship.
Deep within the ruins, they discovered a massive stone tablet covered in ancient runes and patterns. A member of the Shadow Cult, skilled in rune deciphering, studied it carefully and revealed a delighted expression: "This indeed records a forbidden technique capable of influencing the power of the Heart of Chaos, but it requires a special medium to cast, and this medium seems to be a treasure called 'Shadow Crystal'."
While the Shadow Cult was searching for forbidden techniques in the far south, Xuan Yuanche and Su Yao remained vigilant. They had placed spies around the world, closely monitoring the Shadow Cult's every move. When they learned that a Shadow Cult team had traveled to the far south, they realized there might be a conspiracy.

A fierce battle immediately ensued. During the battle, Xuanyuan Che noticed that the Shadow Cult seemed to be searching for something. A thought struck him, and he guessed that their purpose might be related to the Heart of Chaos. This strengthened his resolve to stop the Shadow Cult. He fought while searching for the location of the stone tablet, knowing that destroying the forbidden techniques recorded on it would thwart the Shadow Cult's plot.
After a difficult search and battle, Xuan Yuanche finally found the stone tablet. Without hesitation, he unleashed his powerful spiritual energy, shattering it. Seeing the tablet destroyed, the Shadow Cult members roared in despair. Knowing there was no turning back, they attacked Xuan Yuanche even more frantically.
Xuanyuan Che and his assistants fought valiantly and ultimately succeeded in annihilating the Shadow Cult expedition team. However, he knew in his heart that this was only part of the Shadow Cult's conspiracy, and they certainly had other plans.
